TRAINING & WORK
I received clinical training while working at a variety of settings with diverse populations. These sites include the counseling and psychological services at the University of California, San Diego and the University of California, Irvine. Additional San Francisco sites include UCSF Alliance Health Project, Ohlhoff Recovery Programs - Intensive Outpatient Program, and the University of San Francisco.
I received a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, in addition to a Master's of Arts, from California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant International University - San Francisco. My dissertation examined the risk factors and protective factors impacting the use and/or abuse of alcohol among sexual minority college women. I majored in both Psychology and Women and Gender Studies at the University of California, Davis. My senior thesis explored the experiences of queer college women and self-presentation.
I am an associate of Dr. Keely Kolmes, and a member of both Bay Area Open Minds and the San Francisco Psychological Association.
